Penare Farm is a 100 Acre holding whose land sweeps down to the sea and cliffs, beach and slipway. There are magnificent views from all the fields across Falmouth bay and out to the Manacles and beyond. At night on an easterly breeze you may even hear the 'Manacle Bell' a reminder of bygone shipwrecks in this hidden and tranquil area.

Penare Farmhouse is situated 2 ½ miles from Manaccan, and 3 miles from St Keverne in the South Helford area. The farmhouse is a 4 bed roomed, 3 bath roomed detached house sited in the middle of the farmland, sheltered by its leafy 1 acre garden and being at the end of a private drive is very safe for children. It has direct access to the South West coastal path, which takes you to many of the secret beaches and pretty fishing villages of the area. A private track takes you down to the beach and small slipway which accesses the safe sailing waters of the Helford river and St Anthony Creek, a true 'Swallows and Amazons' playground for children.

There is a private footpath through our land, which connects to the Porthallow footpath and a good pub, St Keverne has 2 pubs, a good general store and a very good butcher. Manaccan also has a pub, small shop and a great restaurant/bistro. Tesco also visits here for on-line grocery deliveries.

'Sailaway' at St Anthony creek hires boats, canoes, moorings and gives lessons too. They might even pick you up from our beach!
